NATIONAL MOVEMENT IN KAKHETI AND KAKUTSA CHOLOKASHVILI (1921-1924)
Abstrakti
The research topic is the national liberation movement in Kakheti in 1921-1924 led by Kakutsa Cholokashvili. The urgency of the issue is emphasized by the fact that the struggle against Soviet rule was of crucial importance for the survival of the nation.
Our research topic aims to understand the causes and results of the national liberation movement in Kakheti in 1921-1924.
The national liberation movement in Kakheti in 1921-1924 and Kakutsa Cholokashvili--- the need for research was dictated by the understanding that the mentioned period reflects a very important period for the preservation of Georgian national identity, the anti-Soviet struggle, which has been more or less studied. The research was aimed at analyzing the national liberation movement of 1921-1924 on the example of Kakheti and highlighting the role of Kakutsa Cholokashvili in it.
