"KITSDEUTSCH" AS A NEW DIALECT IN A GERMAN COUNTRY

Abstrakti

The article is devoted to a relatively new linguistic phenomenon in the German language - "Kiezdeutsch". The points of view of various researchers on this phenomenon are considered. "Kiezdeutsch" emerged as a language of migrants in multi-ethnic neighbourhoods of big cities, in particular in the Kreuzberg and Neukeln districts of Berlin. The reactions of German society to the emergence of "Kiezdeutsch" are quite diverse. Some researchers see it as a threat and degradation of the standard German language, others believe that it is an attempt by young people to distinguish themselves and distance themselves linguistically from the older generation. There are a number of authors who are convinced that "Kiezdeutsch" is a dialect. In their opinion, this linguistic formation is based on the grammar of the German language, as well as borrowings from the native language of migrants, usually Turkish and Arabic. "Kiezdeutsch" is an example of successful language integration because it includes all young people in multi-ethnic residential neighbourhoods, regardless of their background. Based on analysing the authors' opinion, an attempt is made to determine the place of "Kiezdeutsch" in the structure of the German language.
