INFLUENCE OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON BRANDING (BRAND BUILDING)

Abstract

In this article, I reviewed how social media impacts the process of branding and brand building. To give a proper understanding first how branding was before digital era and how it changed after the discovery of online platforms. People actively using networking sites shifted the branding and some of the steps of building a brand might have changed completely. Findings are mainly based on qualitative and quantitative research approaches. In order to avoid only relying on already available data, survey was conducted. This helped the article to be more current data based and with this research, I proved the fact that, in today’s world, social media hold great impact in any business’s foundation, with is branding process. Article also demonstrated how with the help of social media branding small businesses are nourishing as well as easily becoming a direct competitor to bigger organizations.
