EXPLORING EXTRALINGUISTIC TOOLS IN TRANSLATING HEROIC CHARACTERS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY
Abstract
Literary translation serves as a crucial bridge for conveying the intricate aesthetic and artistic nuances inherent in heroic characters across diverse linguistic landscapes. This study delves into the multifaceted realm of translating heroic figures, examining how translators harness extralinguistic tools to maintain the cultural and thematic integrity of their portrayals in translated works. By conducting a comparative analysis of selected literary texts featuring prominent heroic characters, this research illuminates the nuanced strategies employed by translators.
