THE ROLE OF FOREIGN INVESTMENT IN TRANSFORMING UZBEKISTAN’S REAL ESTATE MARKET INTO BOOMING MARKET:
Abstract
Foreign investment has been good option to boost certain sector of economy of the country as it brings huge amount money from outside and directly effects to gross domestic product (GDP) of the country positively. Foreign direct investment (FDI) begun happening for 5-6 years in Uzbekistan and still going well especially in Real Estate sector as population growth is high and there are exact demand for Residential and Commercial properties with well driven factors like urbanization. This article explores the role of foreign investment in shaping real estate market of Uzbekistan and illustration of key opportunities, already done to real estate sector of economy and potential benefits for the country and the market. Furthermore, challenges for both sides the country and foreign investors.
